From 1912 when Arthur Murray started selling dance lessons, through the 1950's when the "Arthur Murray Dance Party" television show aired for a dozen years and as latin dance styles gained in popularity, Arthur Murray has helped bring dancing to millions.

Arthur Murray International is involved in the world of professional and amateur competitive dance, known as Dance Sport. Many of Arthur Murray's official have contributed to bringing competitive ballroom to the forefront as an Olympic Sport.
